Born, raised, and continuing to live and work in Scotland.
Educated at the Royal College of Art in London, with an MA in Fashion Menswear, Peter Johnston established a reputation for refined menswear design and bespoke tailoring early in his career.
Specialising in men's bespoke tailoring, he developed advanced expertise in pattern cutting, garment construction and sartorial styling, and became the first British entrant to win the Italian tailoring and design competition Ago D'Oro (Golden Needle), hosted by Brioni in Italy.

Fittings take place in Edinburgh, at a private club townhouse or in the comfort of the client's own home. Between fittings, the work returns to the atelier in the Highlands, where every commission is cut and made by hand.
Highland clients are welcome at the atelier, near Inverness, by appointment.
