In 2005 PETER JOHNSTON went into partnership with ONWARD KASHIYAMA a Japanese clothing group located in Tokyo and who now exclusively produce and distribute the brand in seven ISETAN specialist menswear stores across Japan. Together they skillfully create tailoring collections that Peter designs to remain close to his brand values of attention to detail and discreet subtle luxury. Jointly ONWARD KASHIYAMA and Peter Johnston provide discerning Japanese customers with collections that are impeccably executed classic items.

From the start of his career PETER JOHNSTON has been visiting Japan on tailoring business. Japanese men have long revered British tailoring for it's quality and craftsmanship and Peter has long shown a reciprocal passion for the country and it's peoples desire for product quality and sophistication.
